Le Lion unleashed an EP full of great collaborations for the end of the year! Here’s a Keep Deep premiere of my own song with him, called ‘Bouncer of People’.
Lck & myself worked on this tune in Bordeaux two years ago, and it’s finally out! You can grab your copy for free on Soundcloud.
Outta’ review: “Heading into winter and emerging from the darkness that is the constant media shower today, High Dude and Lck hit the Outta sound waves with this signature deep textural bass, portraying a mirror of society, observing itself.”
Баxтак review: “Personally, I’ve been struggling to keep away from the media, news and all this political bullshit that’s projected into my thoughtscape. Every time I realize that I’ve lost my focus again due to the above, I shake my head, take a deep breath and get back to what I was doing. I feel like this song portrays exactly that: The subtle use of atmospherics, switching between news channels, and all these layers of information are suddenly stopped by the blasting drops of bass, prompting the listener to concentrate on the deep groove within, rather than the surface distractions. It’s crazy how an atmospheric instrumental track can respond to our emotions in such an intricate way. I guess that’s how you can tell it’s good art.”

Remix Artists: Skaar, Master Balance, OverNose, Kardium, Low-K, Ghosthack, Sektor 122 & Gleb Choutov.
Parisian low end purveyor High Dude unleashed this toxic, sludge-fest way back at the start of 2015. It’s already enjoyed some serious version science from 6Blocc, now it’s in the hands of eight competition-winning upstarts. Each comes with its own unique flavour: Skaar plays with harmonics, Master Balance gets busy on the polyrhythmic drums OverNose adds chilling chords and an overall graveyard finish, Kardium adds a fresh layer of trippy sound designs, Low-K brings us up to D&B speed, Ghosthack switches the bass for something much more menacing, Sektor 122 gets creepy with haunted moans and shadowy switches while Gleb Choutov gives ‘Abstract’ its most abstract version of the pack with a spaced out near-beatless rendition. Each remix an original piece in its own right; the future of bass music is fine hands if these next-gen candidates get their way.
